My PC doesn't "see" my TC. This is what I get when I click on Computer. OS is Windows 7.
I have Airport Utility installed and it recognises the TC.
I cannot download and backup any files.
Does anyone have a suggestion?

In windows explorer type in the address bar
\\10.0.1.1
(Where you replace that default IP with whatever IP your TC is running).
If it still fails to open, turn off your windows and any third party firewall.
I typed the \\10.0.1.1 and hit enter but nothing happened.
I turned off all firewalls.
Now Airport Utility doesn't detect my TC on a scan at all. However, I have internet access through the TC and my computer can detect my router in the TC.
Did you check that the TC is at 10.0.1.1 as it surely won't work if that is not the IP..
Post the screenshot from the airport utility showing the IP of the TC..
Then make sure you use the TC actual address not the default IP.
Still have issues.. then give me all the info.. whole network layout and IP address of every single item.
